Sadly, grad school is harder than i thought it would be...especially the first semester if ur not funded and ur running around trying to impress profs...shebbbbbbbbaaa mudiyala pa....
Anyways due to complaints that i have not been in touch with people regularly enof--- the charge to which i do plead guilty of, i am up at 5 in the morning in the freaking cold ( its -3 degress outside) to write this...aaah as Goundar said "idhellaam sarithathra varum,enakku sellai veppaanga, students notes edupaanga..." its amazing infact...1000 miles from ur home, great amounts of work and research and to top it all bleddy weather and goundars comedy seems so relaxing as he shouts expletives after expletives..... i cant wait to see him on screen again...
Anyways the idea was to capture as many of my experiences as i can in this blog but clearly i failed short of that...So till i catch upto the present timeline, I am planning to adopt a "LOST" kinda narration style...For those who are not sure what i am talking about..."LOST" is a major thriller series on tv about people stuck on an island...anyways the narration style is such that, they have scenes going back and forth between each persons past and present and it kinda grows on you....
I have not actually started writing about it yet but i jus wanna let u guys know that the blog aint dead (well my blogs are always brain dead considering the stuff i dump on the www) but not dead YET!! so this is where i go like "commmmmmmmmmmeeeeeee onnnnnnnn" and go open up note pad and start writing...i think i wil call it " Goodbye Starbucks,Hello Dishroom" :D hehe...
Right now i am jus gonna fire some quick updates:
1) i am now mottai, well i was mottai for a while but again its been so long since i wrote,i am not mottai anymore...which in the end kinda makes this a non update...free...(i need kaaaaaapi!!)
2)the new himym kinda sucks...which again is nothing new...its been sucking for a while...
3)did my vlsi midterm decently....my quantum mech paper even better(thumbs up!!)...i need to ace this paper cos the prof says i MAY get funded by him!! (pls pray...i need it!!)
4)my diwali sucked!!!! i mean literally sucked!! did not have wear anything new, did not have sweets, had maggi for food!! and spent the whole day in the lab!!
5)the indian students association is celebrating diwali next week!!?????? ennoda bayangara lag aa irukkanga...
6)obama got the NOBEl!!! having slightly mixed feelings about it...
7)i am hungry and i am gonna go raid my fridge...later...

Don't expect to get away with it everytime! :P And if in case you want to adapt your LOST narration (I prefer calling it Mani Ratnam-type cinematography, don't see why none of you Americanized peters ever think of Indian stuff), read through Rajiv's latest post, it's well written (Now don't complain that you are miles apart and had a sucky Deepavali - we all did, wherever we were).
